Mr. Stevenson, 53, has served as the Company’s President and CEO since June 2017. From August 2015 to June 2017, Mr. Stevenson served as the Company’s President and Chief Administrative Officer and from 2002 to August 2015, as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary. Prior to co-founding the Company with Mr. Fredrickson in 1996, Mr. Stevenson held various positions with HRSC, including Controller, and Household Bank, where he served as the controller of a regional processing center and also managed the collections, technology, research and ATM departments. While at Household Bank, he participated in numerous bank and branch acquisitions as well as divestitures. Mr. Stevenson is a certified public accountant and currently serves on the boards of the American Red Cross of Southeastern Virginia and EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program of Virginia Beach.
Tiku directs PRA’s acquisition of non-performing consumer loans from leading banks and financial institutions across Europe, as well as all customer operations in Europe. He served as chief operating officer for PRA Group Europe from 2014 until being named CEO of PRA Group Europe in January 2016. He joined PRA in 2014 from Aktiv Kapital, where he was group chief operating officer since 2008. Before joining Aktiv, Tiku was managing director, UK & Ireland, for Experian. He previously served as managing director for Barclays Premier Banking, and chief operating officer for Barclays Medium Business and Agriculture Banking. His prior roles include various leadership positions with Kingfisher plc (including finance director, eKingfisher and head of brand and strategic marketing, Woolworths) and Redland PLC. He has a master’s degree in mathematics from The Queen’s College, Oxford University, studied the Programme for Management Development at Harvard, and is a qualified accountant.
Chris directs all of PRA’s Core Acquisitions and Core Operations in the Americas. He was appointed to his current role in 2015 after serving as executive vice president of core acquisitions since 2013. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined PRA in 2006 as vice president, portfolio acquisitions and was appointed to senior vice president, core acquisitions in 2009. Prior to joining PRA, he was vice president of acquisitions and group manager for the Credit Recovery Services division of Capital One. He previously served as vice president and regional manager at Signet Bank and First Union. Chris has an MBA from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University, and graduated from the Consumer Banking Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia. Chris serves on the board of directors and the executive committee for VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads in Norfolk, Virginia.
Pete Graham serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for PRA Group. Graham is a seasoned finance executive with more than 20 years focused on the financial services industry across a broad range of sectors including lending, leasing, insurance and asset management. Graham joined PRA in 2016 and reports directly to PRA President and Chief Administrative Officer Kevin Stevenson. Graham is a 14-year veteran of General Electric Company (GE), most recently as a finance executive on the GE Capital exit plan team, focused on GE's disposition of the majority of GE Capital. His previous positions within GE Capital include chief financial officer for GE Commercial Distribution Finance and GE Capital Markets. He also served as global controller for Treasury and Global Funding Operations and controller and manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for GE Asset Management. Prior to joining GE, Graham was with KPMG LLP for 10 years where he led audit and advisory teams serving clients in the financial services industry in insurance, banking, and asset management. His tenure with KPMG included three years living and working in Switzerland while leading teams across Europe. Graham earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Chris is responsible for the company’s global legal, regulatory and government relations functions. He was named general counsel in January 2016 after serving as PRA Group’s deputy general counsel since 2011. Chris has been practicing law for 15 years and joined PRA in 2006 after working in private practice for law firms in New York and Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University and a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. He has served on the board of directors of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Council of the Virginia Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Section.
Laura has primary responsibility for the day-to-day implementation and oversight of the company's compliance programs. She has direct and regular access to PRA's board of directors and works closely with the board's compliance committee. Laura has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. She was previously chief risk and compliance officer for Allianz Global Assistance, Americas, where she was responsible for risk management and compliance, including operational risk, internal controls, business continuity and regulatory compliance. Before joining Allianz she was senior manager of corporate planning for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and was a commissioned bank examiner for the Federal Reserve System. Prior to holding these positions, she was a senior financial analyst for Capital One Financial Corporation. Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is active in her community, volunteering for several charities including Special Olympics and CARITAS, a provider of homeless services to people in crisis.
Deborah oversees all enterprise corporate systems for PRA Group in North America and Europe and reports to Kevin Stevenson, PRA’s president, chief administrative officer, and interim chief financial officer. She has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience across several industries, with the past 10 years in the financial services industry. Most recently, Deborah was senior vice president and business chief information officer for Genworth Financial, Inc. She previously served seven years with Allianz Assistance as vice president and chief information officer and 15 years with the Tredegar Corporation. She earned a Master of Science degree in management information technology from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and information systems from Mary Baldwin College.
Andrew Berardi serves as senior vice president, global insolvency investment services for PRA Group. Berardi is one of the pioneers of the insolvency industry in the U.S. Since 2014, he led PRA’s UK and Germany insolvency teams before being promoted to SVP, global insolvency investment services in 2017. Prior to joining PRA, Berardi was a partner with Pamplona Capital Management, LLP where he built Pamplona's capabilities in purchasing IVAs and protected trust deeds. He also worked at Bear Stearns and was instrumental in developing the IVA debt purchase market in the UK. He was an original member of the IVA Working Group, where he played a key role in the development and implementation of the IVA protocol. Berardi holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the State University of New York and an MBA in management and industrial relations from the University of Illinois.
Michelle manages Human Resources for the company, counseling leaders on talent development, recruitment, compensation and benefits. She also is responsible for training of PRA account representatives. Michelle joined PRA in 2011 with more than 15 years of HR leadership experience. She was vice president, human resources for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, in Chattanooga from 2009 to 2011, and was vice president, human resources for Amerigroup from 2004 to 2009. Michelle also held HR leadership roles at Cigna and Corning, and has been an HR and management consultant, as well as an HR and communications instructor. Michelle has an MA in human resources management, magna cum laude, from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, cum laude, from Stonehill College.
Steve is responsible for PRA’s global strategy and business development, and directs the company’s revenue and recovery services for clients of MuniServices, RDS, PRA Location Services and Claims Compensation Bureau. Steve joined PRA in 2012 as president, business and government services, and was appointed to his current role in 2015.He has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, operations, global manufacturing and commercial banking. In 2006, he launched ShopText, a pay-for-performance mobile marketing and loyalty platform for Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods companies, media companies and retailers. At Interpublic, Steve was chief operating officer of McCann Erickson's $200 million direct marketing unit and chief financial officer of its $650 million diversified marketing services units. Previously, Steve was chief financial officer of Modem Media, later acquired by Digitas, where he led the company's IPO in 1999. At United Technologies, Steve held P&L responsibilities at Otis Elevator and Carrier Air Conditioning in Asia and the U.S. He has an MBA from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.
Kent is responsible for the company’s global development including mergers and acquisitions. He was appointed to his current role in 2015. Prior to that he was responsible for global strategy and business development and directed PRA's fee-for-service businesses. He joined the company in 2007 as senior vice president, strategy and business development from Shamrock Holdings, the investment arm of the Disney family, where he was managing director. While at Shamrock from 2004 to 2007, he helped raise $1.25 billion to fund activist investments in publicly traded companies. Prior to Shamrock, Kent conducted business development for Trader Publishing, LLC in the Trader Ventures group from 2003 to 2004. From 1995 to 2003, Kent directed equity research and capital management for Atlantic Capital Management and Scott & Stringfellow. He was an associate at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., from 1994 to 1995, and started his finance career as an analyst in New York at Smith Barney Inc. in the early 1990s. Kent has an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
Neil leads PRA’s corporate audit services team and works with management, external auditors and the company's board of directors in developing integrated global audits for PRA Group. He reports directly to the audit committee of the board of directors, with dotted line to Kevin Stevenson, PRA’s president, chief administrative officer, and interim chief financial officer. Neil has 18 years of audit experience leading and managing large and cross-functional teams in multiple geographies to complete complex operational, business process and compliance audits. He also has experience in risk management, regulatory compliance and consulting services. Prior to joining PRA, Neil was director of corporate audit services for Genworth Financial, Inc. He previously served nearly 10 years with Capital One Financial Corporation and four years with KPMG. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and strategy from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from University of Calcutta, India, and is a certified internal auditor (CIA).
Nancy is responsible for internal and external communications for PRA Group. Her 20+ years marketing experience includes positions as Art Director, Creative Director, Vice President Marketing and Agency President. Her career has included national advertising accounts in creative and strategic positions. Nancy gained experience in the financial services industry as Vice President of Marketing for Chartway Federal Credit Union and most recently SVP Marketing & Sales for Monarch Bank, a publicly traded local community bank. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University and has served as Adjunct Professor as an instructor to undergraduates in Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, Communication Arts & Design advertising curriculum.
